    Memory

The most of the topography of the site was shaped by the former terraced fields in the landscape. We took the advantage of that characteristic of the terrain by placing our intervention in a non-aggressive way. Vegetation plays an important role in the proposal, starting from the large wooded area that joins the northern peak of the plot, throughout the eastern area, all the way to the lake. The perimeter vegetation protects the ensemble acoustically and visually from the surrounding circling roads that surround the plot.

Viewed from the South, the first building “line” corresponds to the AER program and is developed along future Maladière road as a large continuous parch with voids wich correspond to the voids of Dorgny.
    Phase I
This linear single-plan building, situated next to the planned vegetation would form a lare boulevard of economy activities of use to the residents. It would also serve as a protection from the noise for the buildings in the inner part of the settlement. The second building “line” consists of the buildings ACV / C4 / HESAV / LET. The ACV building is situated at the western side of the plot, the building LET on the eastern, and the buildings C4 and HESAV in the central part, in front of the Great Plaza of Campus Santé, as a close relationship with the squares in Dorgny.

    Phase II
The final proposed volumetry is situated on the north of the plot. Those LOG and COM buildings are of the same structural typology and have the same linear layout as used in the Phase I. For the completion of the whole we used a clear and comprehensive phylosophy.

All buildings have double N-S orientation with sunlight and views of the northern wooded area and beautiful landscape. Under the buildings there are parking spaces for motorized vehicles and general services of the technical and administrative buildings. The large landscaped areas are connecting the buildings, but providing better isolation of particular buildings as well. Also, they serve as places of socializing as they represent an extension of the ground floor. The perimeter vegetation protects the whole acoustically and visually from the traffic that surrounds the plot.
