Memory
We immersed ourselves in the development of the proposal and strengthened the decisions that brought us to be among the ones selected for the second phase of the competition.
Our performance recovers the cloister for the city, leaving it exempt, as a protagonist and a landmark of the collective memory of the Jerónimos neighborhood. In the geometrical center of the cloister we set up a cubical glass skylight providing natural light to the two floors intended for the exhibitions, in the manner of the classical temples. Also, at night the urban environment is illuminated by the artificial light coming from the interior.
