The project was created as a response to its context. The two routes have determined the orientation of the architecture: Route de la Croix-Blanche, as one of the main arteries of the city to which the apartments open, and a smaller, and Route de Berne on the other side to which they are closed.
It is very important that the building to integrate in the city,. It has to respect the pedestrian and road accesses, as well as to correspond the volumetry and design of surrounding buildings.
The building opens itself to the various public activities on the ground floor which is extended by a large terrace where people can meet. By connecting with the Route de la Croix-Blanche, the relationship with the city is achieved. The landscaped aread of the plot are enriching the environment and protecting the building from the traffic nuisance.
